Pioneering Montreal's electroclash scene, FRIGID first makes himself known as an underground DJ. His psychedelic mix of rock and electro seduces Montrealers and his now famous “Overdose" night (2001-2003) quickly attracts more than 800+ people every Thursday night at Parking club.


From 2004 to 2020, FRIGID takes part in many International Festivals, travelling to Berlin, Leipzig, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Lisbon, Paris, Basel, Fribourg, New York, Los Angeles, etc. while continuing his rise on the Canadian scene, from Vancouver to Montreal. 

International DJ highlights include the official Chemical Brothers after-party in 2008 in Switzerland, opening for Peaches in Montreal in 2009 and being invited as the headliner DJ for "Riot Girrrls", a food and music festival in Los Angeles for 2 consecutive years, 2015 and 2016.

His local "DJ gigs" portfolio include headlining sets at the yearly fundraisers of McCord Museum & Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal in 2024, as well as Museum of Contemporary Art in 2023. And an exhibit launch at Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts in 2024.
Throught the years, designing the music for local star designers Rad Hourani, Denis Gagnon and Philippe Dubuc's Fashion Shows, DJing at many successful weekly club nights (KINK!, Elektruck, Lipstick, etc.), art galleries and plenty of major launches all over the city on top of becoming the head music conceptor behind the 4-day Festival Mode & Design (now called M.A.D. Festival) from 2017 to 2020 inclusively.

 

Now an accomplished musician with several original albums in his discography, FRIGID showcases his singing and producing skills while making various DJ appearances and spinning every Wednesday night at his Montreal weekly residency, RETROWAVE ! Come party !!!
