Pioneering Montreal's electroclash scene, FRIGID first makes himself known as an underground DJ. His psychedelic mix of rock and electro seduces Montrealers and his famous “Overdose" night (2001-2003) quickly attracts more than 800 people a week every Thursday at Parking club.


From 2004 to 2020, FRIGID takes part in many International Festivals, travelling to Berlin, Leipzig, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Lisbon, Paris, Basel, Fribourg, New York, Los Angeles, etc. while continuing his rise on the Canadian scene, from Vancouver to Montreal. 



His local "DJ gigs" portfolio include sets at Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts and Museum of Contemporary Art, Fashion Shows for local star designers Rad Hourani, Denis Gagnon and Philippe Dubuc, successful weekly club nights (KINK!, Elektruck, Lipstick, etc.), many art galleries exhibits and plenty of major launches all over the city. He's also the head music conceptor behind Festival Mode & Design since 2018.

 

Now an accomplished musician with several alternative albums in his discography, FRIGID showcases his singing and producing skills while making various DJ appearances and spinning every Wednesday night at his Montreal weekly residency, RETROWAVE!
